What you will do:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the MASH service, ensuring prompt screening, triage, and decision-making for safeguarding referrals.
• Provide professional supervision, performance management, and practice oversight to social workers and support staff for optimal team performance.
• Chair strategy discussions, safeguarding meetings, and facilitate multi-agency decision-making forums.
• Ensure effective information sharing and foster partnership working with Police, Health, Education, Housing, Probation, and Early Help services to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.

Person Specification: Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work with active registration from Social Work England.
• Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development relevant to safeguarding and leadership roles.
• Exhibit significant post-qualification experience within Children's Social Care, with a successful track record of managing staff within a MASH or frontline safeguarding service.
• Prove your capability in leading multi-agency safeguarding arrangements and complex decision-making processes.
