What you will do:
- Support the Team Manager in the operational management of MAST, ensuring effective service delivery and statutory compliance.
- Provide supervision, case consultation, and practice guidance to social workers, family support practitioners, and newly qualified staff.
- Oversee the assessment and management of complex safeguarding referrals, ensuring that threshold decisions are timely, proportionate, and evidence-based.
- Lead on complex Child in Need, Child Protection, and safeguarding cases, providing professional oversight and risk management support.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work or recognised equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in children's safeguarding and leadership practice.
Experience and Compliance:
- Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Social Care.
- Experience working within MAST, MASH, Assessment, Front Door, or Referral and Assessment services.
- Registered with Social Work England.
