What you will do:

  • Deliver specialist hydrotherapy assessments and treatment programmes for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

  • Apply advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of musculoskeletal physiotherapy within an outpatient setting.

  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that promote recovery, mobility, and functional independence.

  • Utilise hydrotherapy techniques to support rehabilitation and improve patient outcomes.

  • Assess, treat, and manage a broad range of musculoskeletal presentations safely and effectively.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programmes based on clinical findings and rehabilitation goals.

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.

  • Provide education, advice, and self-management strategies to patients to support long-term recovery.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.

  • Participate in service development, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy.

  • Current HCPC registration.

  • Minimum of 2 years' NHS experience within musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

  • Significant experience delivering hydrotherapy interventions.

  • Strong assessment, rehabilitation, and clinical reasoning skills.

  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team-working abilities.

  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.
