What You Will Do:

• Assess, supervise, and support foster carers in accordance with Fostering Services Regulations and National Minimum Standards, ensuring high-quality care is provided.
• Undertake Form F assessments, annual reviews, and fostering panel reports to support the recruitment and retention of foster carers.
• Provide ongoing supervision, guidance, and support to approved foster carers, focusing on placement stability and child-centred practice.
• Collaborate closely with children's social workers, Independent Reviewing Officers, education providers, and health partners to support effective care planning.

Person Specification:

• Possess a Degree in Social Work or a recognised equivalent qualification.
• Hold current registration with Social Work England.
• Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development within fostering, permanence, or children's social care.
• Be registered and in compliance with Social Work England.
• Have significant post-qualification experience within Children's Social Care.
• Demonstrate experience within a fostering service, family placement team, or permanence service.
