What You Will Do:
- Assess, supervise, and support foster carers in accordance with Fostering Services Regulations and National Minimum Standards, ensuring high-quality care is provided.
- Undertake Form F assessments, annual reviews, and fostering panel reports to support the recruitment and retention of foster carers.
- Provide ongoing supervision, guidance, and support to approved foster carers, focusing on placement stability and child-centred practice.
- Collaborate closely with children's social workers, Independent Reviewing Officers, education providers, and health partners to support effective care planning.
Person Specification:
- Possess a Degree in Social Work or a recognised equivalent qualification.
- Hold current registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development within fostering, permanence, or children's social care.
- Be registered and in compliance with Social Work England.
- Have significant post-qualification experience within Children's Social Care.
- Demonstrate experience within a fostering service, family placement team, or permanence service.
