What you will do:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of podiatry conditions, with a focus on high-risk patients.
• Manage patients with diabetes, high-risk feet, and musculoskeletal foot disorders.
• Undertake comprehensive foot health assessments and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement individual treatment programmes.
• Deliver specialist diabetic foot screening and review clinics.
• Perform vascular and neurological assessments using Doppler, monofilaments, and tuning forks.
• Provide foot health education and health promotion initiatives.
• Participate in nail surgery and biomechanics services.
• Undertake domiciliary visits and community-based assessments.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, GPs, and specialist services.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and Community Information System data.
• Manage clinical stock and equipment.
• Support students and contribute to service development, audits, and quality improvement activities.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration.
• Degree or Diploma in Podiatric Medicine.
• Experience working with a wide range of patient groups including high-risk foot patients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Desirable: Certificate in Local Anaesthesia, Certificate in Prescription Only Medicine, nail surgery experience, biomechanics experience, and a valid UK driving licence.

• Service: Podiatry within the Adult Integrated Care Directorate.
• Working Environment: A community and clinic-based role, working across hospital clinics, community clinics, GP practices, residential homes, patients' homes, and mental health units.
