What you will do:

  • Coordinate the response to any allegations or concerns regarding individuals who work with children including those in positions of trust and volunteers.
  • Oversee allegations about practitioners who may have harmed a child, pose a risk to children, or are unsuitable for child-related work.
  • Ensure that all concerns are addressed fairly, safeguarding the child's welfare while ensuring fairness for those involved.
  • Facilitate information-sharing among relevant parties and track the progress of investigations.
  • Maintain a timely and confidential process ensuring concerns are recorded and monitored.
  • Advocate for the voice of the child ensuring their perspective is heard and considered at every stage.
