What you will do:

Initial Assessments and Screening: Receive, screen, and assess referrals relating to children and families, undertaking child and family assessments to identify levels of need and risk.

Safeguarding and Child Protection: Identify risks of abuse or neglect, undertake child protection enquiries, and develop safeguarding plans that promote children's safety and wellbeing.

Case Management: Manage a varied caseload, ensuring statutory timescales are met and accurate records are maintained.

Risk Assessment: Analyse information and make informed decisions regarding interventions, support services, and safeguarding actions.

Multi-Agency Working: Collaborate with professionals from education, health, police, housing, and voluntary organisations to provide coordinated support.
