What you will do:
- Carry out social work tasks related to assessments, care planning, and the development of support packages to promote the welfare of children.
- Undertake initial, core, and integrated assessments in compliance with the Assessment Framework.
- Develop care plans and support packages tailored for children with disabilities.
- Fulfill statutory duties concerning children looked after and manage responsibilities for children on the Child Protection Register.
- Engage with duties for other Children In Need, ensuring proper input of data onto Care First.
- Collaborate with educational, healthcare, and social care colleagues to ensure children’s needs are comprehensively met.
- Safeguard the well-being of children, addressing care and transition needs effectively.
- Serve as a practice assessor or facilitator for student social workers, providing them guidance during their placement.

To be considered for the role of Social Worker:
- You must hold a degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current registration with Social Work England is essential.
- Demonstrable frontline experience in UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.
