What you will do:
- Lead a team within the Children in Care service, focusing on both Child Protection and Children in Need.
- Manage cases including initiating care proceedings and overseeing children subject to Child in Need Plans and Child Protection Plans.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and interventions tailored to the needs of each child.
- Work collaboratively with external partners and agencies to ensure comprehensive support for families.
- Provide guidance and support to your team, ensuring effective practice and adherence to statutory responsibilities.

Requirements of the Team Manager:
We are looking for someone with a degree or equivalent qualification in social work and current Social Work England registration. Recent managerial experience as a Team Manager TM, Deputy Team Manager DTM, or Assistant Team Manager ATM is essential. You must have significant frontline experience in Children’s Services, with at least three years in a managerial position.
