Social Worker within Adults Mental Health wanted in Bromley UK earning £32 hourly on an ongoing full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker with both secondary mental health and adult safeguarding experience to join our team. Ideally, you have worked as an Enquiry Officer for our new Social Work Pilot launching this Summer. Become an integral part of a satellite team to the Mental Health Hub, aiming to enhance Care Act compliance, quality, and service assurance within our primary care mental health offering. What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive Section 9 assessments in individuals' homes, quickly evaluating needs, risks, and circumstances to determine appropriate mental health support paths.
- Engage collaboratively with colleagues from Mind and NHS psychology at Rachel Notley House in Beckenham to provide a cohesive and effective mental health service.
- Act as an Enquiry Officer when necessary, determining if a Section 42 enquiry should be initiated.
- Pilot projects designed to embed improved Care Act compliance, ensuring robust quality and assurance measures.
- Deliver integrated mental health services across health and social care systems within Bromley, capitalising on a robust community partnership network.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant frontline experience in UK social services as a qualified Social Worker.
