What you will do

• Rehabilitation Support: Deliver specialist rehabilitation services including orientation and mobility training.
• Independent Living Skills: Provide training in daily living and communication skills to promote independence.
• Assessment and Planning: Develop and implement personalised rehabilitation plans tailored to individual needs.
• Sensory Support: Support individuals with visual impairments and dual sensory loss to maximise independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Professional Qualification: Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Registration: HCPC registration is required.
• Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with visual impairments and sensory loss.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of the challenges and support needs associated with visual impairment.
• DBS Check: Enhanced DBS clearance required.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Driving Licence: Not required for this role.
