What you will do
- Rehabilitation Support: Deliver specialist rehabilitation services including orientation and mobility training.
- Independent Living Skills: Provide training in daily living and communication skills to promote independence.
- Assessment and Planning: Develop and implement personalised rehabilitation plans tailored to individual needs.
- Sensory Support: Support individuals with visual impairments and dual sensory loss to maximise independence and wellbeing.
- Multi-Agency Working: Collaborate with health, social care, and community professionals to deliver coordinated support.
- Service Development: Contribute to high-quality sensory impairment services across the local community.

Qualifications / Requirements
- Professional Qualification: Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Registration: HCPC registration is required.
- Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with visual impairments and sensory loss.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the challenges and support needs associated with visual impairment.
- DBS Check: Enhanced DBS clearance required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Driving Licence: Not required for this role.
