What you will do:

- Provide a high level of support and guidance to foster carers, ensuring they comply with national minimum standards and Fostering Regulations 2011.
- Regularly supervise foster carers through high-quality sessions and annual reviews.
- Identify training needs of foster carers and ensure completion of statutory training.
- Make informed, child-centred decisions using critical reflection and analysis in complex situations.
- Safeguard children and young people in foster placements, promoting their potential and best possible outcomes.
- Meet the demands of the service, producing consistent, high-quality work within set timescales.

We are looking for an experienced professional in fostering, specifically in support and supervision, with a deep understanding of Fostering Regulations and the National Minimum Fostering Standards. If you have experience supporting foster carers who have been assessed under Regulation 24, we want to hear from you!
