What you will do:
- Perform venepuncture and blood collection procedures safely, accurately, and professionally within mobile blood collection units.
- Travel with mobile teams to collection sites across Newport East, Penarth, and Chepstow.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure the secure handling and transportation of blood samples.
- Deliver a professional, compassionate service, helping volunteers feel comfortable throughout the donation process.
- Operate mobile unit equipment in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Attend mandatory induction and training sessions, maintaining compliance with clinical and organisational standards.
Requirements:
- Current competency in venepuncture and cannulation.
- A clean UK driving licence.
- Applicants must be 25 years of age or over.
- Ability to provide a venepuncture certificate and PVG certificate with your application.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach.
