What you will do:

• Perform venepuncture and blood collection procedures safely, accurately, and professionally within mobile blood collection units.
• Travel with mobile teams to collection sites across Newport East, Penarth, and Chepstow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure the secure handling and transportation of blood samples.
• Deliver a professional, compassionate service, helping volunteers feel comfortable throughout the donation process.
• Operate mobile unit equipment in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Attend mandatory induction and training sessions, maintaining compliance with clinical and organisational standards.

Requirements:

• Current competency in venepuncture and cannulation.
• A clean UK driving licence.
• Applicants must be 25 years of age or over.
• Ability to provide a venepuncture certificate and PVG certificate with your application.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach.
