Key Requirements of the Locum Dental Nurse:

• GDC registered Dental Nurse
• Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Previous UK dental nursing experience preferred
• Good understanding of infection prevention, decontamination, and cross-infection protocols
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work confidently both independently and within a wider team
• Organised approach with strong attention to detail
• Commitment to maintaining high clinical and patient care standards

This Locum Dental Nurse role responsibilities will include:

• Providing chairside assistance during a range of dental procedures
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and clinical equipment
• Supporting and reassuring patients throughout appointments
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records
• Following infection prevention and decontamination procedures
• Assisting with stock management and day-to-day practice organisation
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver an excellent patient experience
