Orthodontist in Birmingham

We are currently recruiting for an Orthodontist to join a well-established dental practice in Central Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity offering one day per month initially, with strong earning potential and a supportive clinical environment. Immediate start available.

The practice is modern, patient-focused, and highly regarded locally, providing high-quality dental care across a broad patient base. Due to continued patient demand, the practice is looking to expand its orthodontic offering with a dedicated Orthodontist focused exclusively on fixed appliance treatments. An established aligner specialist is already in place, creating an excellent opportunity to develop a complementary referral-based service.

This Orthodontist role will benefit from:

• One day per month commitment initially (with scope to increase as demand grows)

• 50% revenue split or day rate to be agreed as the service develops

Key Requirements of the Orthodontist:

• GDC registered Dentist
• Recognised Orthodontic qualification essential (MOrth / MSc Orthodontics / Specialist qualification or equivalent)
• Previous UK dental experience required
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience providing fixed appliance orthodontic treatments essential
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

This Orthodontist role responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality specialist orthodontic care
• Assessing, planning and delivering fixed appliance orthodontic treatment
• Managing referred orthodontic cases within agreed clinical protocols
• Delivering clear patient communication and treatment planning
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and compliance standards
• Working collaboratively with the wider dental team and existing aligner specialist
• Supporting the continued growth of specialist orthodontic services within the practice

The practice is based in Central Birmingham, with convenient access from surrounding locations including Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, West Bromwich, Bromsgrove and surrounding areas.
