Specialist In Paediatric Dentistry in Norfolk, Norfolk

We are currently recruiting for a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry to join an award-winning Community Dental Service across Norfolk & Waveney on a permanent basis. The service is employee-owned, patient-focused, and highly regarded for delivering high-quality specialist dental care to vulnerable and underserved communities across East and Central England. This role offers the opportunity to provide specialist care to children and young people with complex dental needs across both community and acute settings.

This Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry role will benefit from:

• Salary: £101,434 – £116,573 per annum (pro rata if part time)
• Permanent position
• Full-time hours – 37.5 hours per week (part-time considered)
• £10,000 employment incentive package
• Flexible use of incentive including relocation, salary enhancement, training and professional fees (subject to terms)
• Majority of sessions based at Siskin Dental Centre, Norwich Community Hospital
• Mileage reimbursement for travel across Norfolk & Waveney clinics and acute hospitals

Key Requirements of the Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry:

• GDC registered Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry (or equivalent eligibility)
• Previous experience delivering specialist paediatric dental care
• Experience treating children and young people with complex dental needs
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to travel across service locations where required

This Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry role responsibilities will include:

• Delivering specialist paediatric dental care across community settings throughout Norfolk & Waveney
• Providing treatment for children and young people with complex oral health requirements
• Delivering the majority of clinical sessions from Siskin Dental Centre, Norwich
• Providing treatment under general anaesthesia within acute hospital settings
• Supporting access to specialist dental services across the region
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
• Promoting preventative dentistry and long-term oral health improvement
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and high standards of governance and patient care
