Locum Dental Nurse – Birmingham Area

Flourish Medical is recruiting an experienced Locum Dental Nurse to support a well-established private dental practice in the Birmingham area on an ad hoc basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Dental Nurse seeking flexible locum work within a modern private practice offering advanced treatments including implants, cosmetic dentistry, and sedation. The practice requires occasional cover for holidays, sickness, and additional clinical support, making it ideal for nurses looking to supplement their current role with high-quality locum opportunities.
Please note: We are unable to accept applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship. Previous UK dental nursing experience is essential for this position.

What we're looking for
- Current GDC registration as a Dental Nurse
- Proven experience working within UK dental practices
- Strong chairside nursing skills
- Implant nursing experience desirable
- Sedation nursing experience advantageous
- Experience using Dentally software beneficial
- Strong understanding of infection prevention, decontamination procedures, and CQC standards
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to integrate quickly into established clinical teams
Your responsibilities may include
- Providing chairside support during a range of dental procedures
- Assisting clinicians with implant and sedation treatments
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring equipment is ready for use
- Maintaining high standards of infection control and decontamination
- Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey
- Accurately updating and maintaining clinical records
- Using Dentally software where required
- Working collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, therapists, and wider practice teams
Location
This role is based within a private dental practice in the Birmingham area and is easily accessible from Redditch, Bromsgrove, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Sandwell, Wolverhampton, Walsall and surrounding locations.
