Locum Dentist in Birmingham, West Midlands

Flourish Medical is currently seeking a Locum Dentist to support a number of established dental practices across the Birmingham area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Dentist looking for flexible locum work with a choice of shifts available and competitive daily rates.

With immediate starts available, these opportunities suit clinicians seeking ad hoc sessions, regular weekly cover, or longer-term locum arrangements across supportive and well-equipped practices.

Key Requirements of the Dentist:

• GDC registered Dentist
• Active NHS Performer Number essential
• Previous UK dental experience required
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Confident in providing both NHS and private dental treatments
• Ability to adapt quickly to different practice environments
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

This Dentist role responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality NHS and private dental care
• Carrying out routine and restorative treatments including examinations, fillings, root canal treatments, extractions, crowns and bridges
• Delivering excellent patient communication and treatment planning
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and compliance standards
• Working collaboratively with the wider dental and support teams
• Supporting continuity of patient care during planned and ad hoc clinical cover
