Key Requirements for the Dental Nurse:
- GDC registered Dental Nurse essential
- Previous UK dental nursing experience required
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong chairside support and patient care skills
- Ability to adapt quickly across different practice settings
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Responsibilities of the Locum Dental Nurse will include:
- Providing chairside support to Dentists and clinicians
- Preparing surgeries and maintaining high clinical standards
- Assisting with infection prevention and cross-contamination procedures
- Supporting patient care before, during and after treatment
- Maintaining accurate clinical records where required
- Ensuring equipment and materials are prepared and available
- Working collaboratively with reception and wider practice teams
