Key Requirements of the Locum Dental Nurse:

• GDC registered Dental Nurse
• Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Previous UK dental nursing experience preferred
• Knowledge of current cross-infection and decontamination procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Organised and reliable approach to clinical responsibilities
• Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care

This Locum Dental Nurse role responsibilities will include:

• Providing chairside support to Dentists during clinical procedures
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and equipment
• Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey
• Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
• Ensuring infection prevention and control procedures are followed
• Managing stock and supporting smooth day-to-day clinical operations
• Working collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver excellent patient care
