We are recruiting for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join a friendly, established mixed dental practice in Leicester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a GDC Registered Dental Nurse looking for a permanent role with a genuinely appealing working pattern - including every Wednesday off and finishing at 4:00pm on Fridays.

You'll be joining a welcoming and experienced team where you'll play an important part in delivering excellent patient care across a range of NHS and private treatments.

Your working week

Monday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
Wednesday: Day off
Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

What we're looking for

We're keen to hear from qualified and GDC registered Dental Nurses who are reliable, personable and passionate about providing excellent patient care.

You will ideally have:

• Current GDC registration
• Previous experience working as a Dental Nurse in the UK
• A professional and patient-focused approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to work confidently in a busy practice
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• An Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
• The right to work in the UK — unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role

What will you be doing?

As part of the clinical team, you'll support dentists and patients throughout the day, helping to ensure every appointment runs smoothly.

Your duties will include:

• Providing chairside assistance to the dental team
• Supporting NHS and private dental treatments
• Preparing surgeries before and after appointments
• Maintaining excellent infection control and decontamination standards
• Helping patients feel comfortable and reassured throughout their visit
• Keeping clinical records accurate and up to date
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

Location

The practice is based in Leicester and may be suitable for Dental Nurses commuting from Loughborough, East Leake, Shepshed, Mountsorrel, Syston, Birstall, Oadby, Wigston and surrounding areas.
