Locum Ad Hoc Dentist – Leicester

We are recruiting for Locum Ad Hoc Dentist opportunities in Leicester, offering flexible shifts for dentists looking to fit additional work around their existing commitments. Required Skills & Experience for this Locum Ad Hoc Dentist:

• GDC registration
• Relevant dental qualifications
• Previous UK-based dentistry experience
• Confidence providing emergency and urgent dental treatment
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centred approach
• Ability to assess patients and provide appropriate same-day treatment

Suitable for Locum Dentist, Emergency Dentist and/or General Dentist

As a Locum Ad Hoc Dentist, your responsibilities may include:

• Assessing patients presenting with dental pain and emergencies
• Carrying out examinations and taking appropriate X-rays
• Diagnosing dental conditions and discussing treatment options
• Providing same-day emergency treatment where clinically appropriate
• Carrying out treatments such as extractions, composite fillings and first-stage root canal treatment where appropriate
• Supporting nervous patients with calm, clear and reassuring communication

This Locum Ad Hoc Dentist role is based in Leicester, LE3, within the Westcotes area on Narborough Road. The location is accessible from Leicester city centre and surrounding areas.
