This ongoing locum opportunity offers both part-time and full-time flexibility, working within the SEND Assessment and Review Team (SENSTART) at City of Wolverhampton Council. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, legally compliant Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for children and young people aged 0–25, ensuring person-centred outcomes and adherence to statutory requirements.

What you will do
- EHCP Writing: Draft, amend, and finalise EHCPs, ensuring they are accurate, outcome-focused, and compliant with legislation.
- Needs Assessment: Capture education, health, and social care needs clearly, specifying appropriate provision.
- EHCNA Support: Contribute to the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment process, ensuring statutory timelines are met.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with schools, health professionals, and other partners to support collaborative planning.
- Quality Assurance: Support quality checks to ensure consistency, compliance, and service improvement.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate electronic records and prepare documentation to support SEND processes.
