An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist specialising in children's health to join our team in Luton on a full-time basis for 3 months. This role offers a competitive rate of up to £26–£31 per hour depending on your experience. If you are skilled at making a real difference in the lives of young patients, this role is for you. This position requires the therapist to provide specialist assessments and therapies to children facing a variety of physical, learning, and behavioural challenges.

What you will do:

  • Conduct specialist assessments and provide treatment plans for children referred to the Paediatric Occupational Therapy team.

  • Collaborate closely with families and professionals within a multi-agency framework to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Address a wide range of conditions including neuromuscular conditions, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Co-ordination Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

  • Offer advice and support to children with musculoskeletal, developmental, and perceptual difficulties.

  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved to facilitate the best outcomes for children.

To succeed in this role, you must hold current HCPC registration and have a valid driver's license to travel within the community as required.
