Assistant General Manager – Brilliant Restaurant Group

Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £53,000 + bonus

I’m working with a brilliant restaurant group looking for an Assistant General Manager to join one of its busy Bristol sites. Fresh food, a strong team culture and plenty of energy are at the heart of the business, with real opportunities to develop your career.

This is a big operation, taking around £60,000 a week, so we need someone who enjoys a busy service, loves being on the floor and knows how to get the best out of a large team.

The role:

• You’ll work closely with the General Manager to lead the day-to-day operation, keeping service running smoothly and making sure guests have a great experience from start to finish.
• A big part of the role is looking after your people. Coaching managers, developing the team and giving them the confidence and support to progress.
• You’ll also have a firm handle on the numbers, supporting labour planning, managing costs and driving sales while keeping standards high.

The person:

• You’ll be an experienced Assistant General Manager from a high-volume, fresh-food restaurant background.
• Experience within a branded restaurant group would be a real advantage.
• You’ll be comfortable leading a large team, confident running busy services and commercially switched on.
• Someone who brings energy, sets the tone on the floor and builds strong relationships with their team and guests.
• I’d love to see clear progression in your career and a track record of making a positive impact in your previous roles.
