What you will do:

• Manage and deliver pharmaceutical care within the oncology department, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide expert advice on the safe and effective use of medications related to cancer treatments.
• Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, procedures, and protocols within the oncology spectrum.
• Conduct medication reviews and offer counselling to patients and healthcare staff, ensuring high standards of pharmaceutical care.

Requirements of the Pharmacist:

• Must hold GPHC Registration.
• Demonstrated experience working as a Pharmacist within a UK-based NHS Pharmacy setting is essential.
• Possession of an NVQ or equivalent Pharmacist qualification is required.
• A thorough understanding and experience in oncology therapeutics is beneficial.
