What you will do:
- Provide specialist clinical psychology assessments using complex psychological data and a variety of methods.
- Formulate and implement psychological treatment and management plans.
- Conduct psychological interventions for individuals, carers, and families.
- Offer specialist clinical psychology advice, guidance, and consultation to other professionals.
- Facilitate access to psychologically-based frameworks for the clinical team.
- Conduct risk assessments and offer management advice.
- Lead clinical supervision for trainee psychologists and newly qualified staff.
- Contribute to strategic planning, organisational development, and service enhancement.
Essential qualifications:
- Post-graduate doctorate degree (or equivalent) in clinical psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Ongoing further specialist training or accredited short courses.
- Supervisor training for doctoral programme clinical psychology trainees, or willingness to undertake such training.
- Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
