What you will do:

Lead and manage a team of social workers responsible for assessment, safeguarding, and care planning.
Oversee Child in Need (Section 17), Child Protection (Section 47), and Children in Care cases, where applicable.
Provide management oversight and quality assurance of assessments, reports, and decision-making.
Deliver supervision, performance management, and professional development to staff.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent) and evidence of continued professional development. A management or leadership qualification is desirable.
Registration and compliance: Must be registered with Social Work England, with a strong knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and 2004 and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
DBS requirement: Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
