What you will do
- Lead and support decision‑making within the First Response Team, ensuring safeguarding thresholds are applied consistently.
- Provide advanced practice guidance and consultation to social workers handling initial referrals and assessments.
- Undertake complex statutory assessments and risk analysis in line with safeguarding legislation.
- Support multi‑agency strategy discussions and contribute to effective early decision‑making.
- Assist with quality assurance activity, ensuring high standards of practice and recording.
- Promote child‑centred, strengths‑based practice across the front‑door service.
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation and adherence to statutory timescales.
