What you will do:

Manage a caseload of children and families under safeguarding concerns, including Child Protection (Section 47) and Child in Need (Section 17) cases.

Perform statutory assessments, risk assessments, and care planning, ensuring prompt and effective safeguarding interventions.

Engage in strategy meetings, child protection conferences, and core group meetings, promoting robust multi-agency collaboration.

Develop and implement child-centred safeguarding and care plans, monitor outcomes, and regularly review plans to ensure they meet the needs of the children and families.
Person Specification:

Qualifications: Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent) and evidence of continued professional development.

Registration & Compliance: Must be registered with Social Work England and possess enhanced DBS clearance.

Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant legislation and frameworks such as the Children Act 1989 and 2004, and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
