What you will do:

• Manage a caseload of children and families subject to Children In Need and Child Protection processes, providing direct social work interventions.

• Undertake statutory assessments, including risk assessments and care planning, in line with the Children Act 1989 and local safeguarding policies.

• Participate in strategy meetings, child protection conferences, and core group meetings, ensuring effective multi-agency collaboration.

• Develop and implement child-centred plans focused on safety, permanence, and positive outcomes for children.

Person Specification:

• Qualifications: Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent) with evidence of continued professional development.

• Registration & Compliance: Registered with Social Work England, with knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and 2004 and the Working Together to Safeguard Children framework.

• Enhanced DBS Clearance: Essential for safeguarding children and families.
