What You Will Do

Work with mentally disordered offenders, completing comprehensive assessments and developing effective, person-centred care plans.

Participate in the AMHP rota, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver statutory mental health services.

Advocate for adults with complex needs, ensuring their voices are central to all assessment and decision-making processes.

Provide specialist advice, guidance, and support to individuals navigating the criminal justice system.

Promote recovery, rehabilitation, and social inclusion, supporting service users to reintegrate into the community where possible.

Work in partnership with health, police, probation, and other agencies to ensure coordinated and effective interventions.

Maintain high-quality, accurate, and timely case records in line with statutory and local authority requirements.
Requirements
Essential
-
Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.

Registered with Social Work England.

Qualified and warranted AMHP.

Experience working with forensic or complex mental health service users.

Strong working knowledge of:
