What you will do:

• Support therapy delivery: Assist Occupational Therapists in planning, preparing, and delivering individual and group therapy activities to help patients build skills in self-care, daily living, leisure, social interaction, and recovery-focused goals

• Patient engagement and encouragement: Encourage and support patients to participate in therapeutic and recreational activities, fostering motivation, confidence, and social participation

• Observation and reporting: Monitor patient behaviour and progress during sessions or activities, accurately recording observations and reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist

• Prepare and maintain therapeutic environments: Set up therapy spaces, prepare equipment and resources, and ensure environments are safe, clean, and supportive of treatment goals

• Multidisciplinary collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals such as nurses, psychologists, and activity coordinators to contribute to holistic care planning and support consistency in patient programmes

Person Specification:

• UK / NHS experience is beneficial for understanding protocols and patient care standards

• HCPC Registration is an added advantage to demonstrate your qualifications and enhance the quality of care
