What you will do:

• Conduct statutory assessments of children in need, focusing on risk, safeguarding, and development

• Develop and implement child-focused care plans in line with statutory guidance

• Respond promptly to safeguarding concerns and contribute to child protection plans and case conferences

• Deliver direct support and interventions to children, young people, and families

• Collaborate with schools, health services, and other agencies to promote children’s rights

• Maintain accurate and timely case records, ensuring compliance with statutory frameworks and local policies

Person Specification:

• Degree in Social Work (BA / MA / DipSW)

• Registered with Social Work England (SWE)

• Experience in Children’s Social Care, particularly in assessment, intervention, and managing complex safeguarding cases
