What you will do:
- Support the Team Manager in delivering strategic objectives and contributing to the development of community mental health services.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments for adults and young people transitioning into Adult Services using person-centred outcome planning approaches.
- Develop, implement, and review care packages in partnership with service users, carers, and partner agencies.
- Manage an adult caseload, ensuring care plans remain effective, responsive, and focused on achieving positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate case records and performance data using departmental information systems.
- Participate in regular supervision, mandatory training, and continuous professional development.
- Travel across Argyll and Bute as required to meet the operational needs of the service.
Essential requirements:
- Diploma in Social Work (DipSW), Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW), or an Honours/Postgraduate Degree in Social Work.
- Current registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- Experience working directly with adults within statutory social work, including assessment and care management.
- Sound knowledge of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 and adult social care legislation.
- Excellent communication, assessment, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the service area to fulfil operational requirements.
