What you will do:

• Work directly with children, young people, and families, using a relationship-based practice model to facilitate change and support development.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with families and carers, promoting positive interactions and constructive change.
• Utilize the Merton Relationship-based Practice Model to guide assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations.
• Support social workers, students, and practitioners in developing their skills and expertise in social work approaches.
• Maintain clear and accurate records using electronic systems to ensure timely reporting for various audiences.
• Provide information and referrals to relevant universal, early help, and specialist services when necessary.

Requirements:

• Social Work Qualification (Masters, BA/BSc, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW)
• Registered with Social Work England (SWE) and compliant with professional standards
• Experience in complex statutory social work, effective challenge, and conflict resolution
• Practice Educator Professional Stage 1 qualification or willingness to secure Stage 2
