Locum Social Worker - Children & Families First Team in Bournemouth seeking energetic individuals paying £40.58 hourly for a rewarding 3-month full-time placement. Experienced long-term locum Social Workers are wanted within our Children and Families First Teams which handle CIN CP and Looked After Children cases. This is a thrilling role within a 'good' local authority that values team morale and offers manageable caseloads along with regular monthly supervision. Please ensure your CV demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a statutory English Local Authority for our L3 Social Worker role as per the Department for Education requirements. Due to the demands of the role, candidates must work at the office in the Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole area for a minimum of 3 days a week and have access to their own car as an essential car user.

What you will do:
- Manage a range of cases within Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children settings, providing essential support and expertise.
- Conduct assessments, plan care strategies, and work closely with families to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
- Collaborate with other professionals and service providers to ensure a cohesive approach to child welfare.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and guidelines.
- Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings to share insights and improve service delivery.
