What you will do:

• Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients in general wards, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans.

• Conduct medication reconciliation and review patient prescriptions for accuracy and safety.

• Educate patients and staff about drug therapies and potential side effects.

• Support junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in their roles.

Requirements:

• Must have previous Band 8a NHS experience.

• HCPC registration is required to practise as a pharmacist in this role.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience within the general pharmacy specialism is essential.

• A driving licence is preferable to facilitate travel between locations if needed.
