We are seeking experienced Social Workers with an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification to join our vibrant teams in Worcester, spanning across both South and North Worcestershire, specifically at County Hall and Parkside, Bromsgrove. We provide specialist mental health services in collaboration with the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. You will be working a full-time schedule of 37 hours per week in one of the most rewarding roles, where your skills and experience will make a significant impact. What you will do:
- Conduct thorough strengths- and assets-based assessments in line with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act.
- Provide targeted social interventions that promote recovery and well-being for individuals in complex situations.
- Engage in safeguarding enquiries with a strong focus on exercising professional judgement and using a range of interventions effectively.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and community resources to optimize outcomes for service users.
- Participate in reflective meetings and receive regular supervision to enhance your professional growth.
