What you will do:
Carry out comprehensive assessments of patients’ communication and swallowing abilities.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with communication difficulties in the community.
Make differential diagnoses of communication and swallowing disorders using specialist clinical assessments.
Develop and deliver targeted interventions based on accurate and thorough assessments to improve patient outcomes.
Provide person-centred care as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development initiatives.
Essential requirements:
Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
Experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to support community visits.
