What you will do

Undertake Early Help Assessments (EHA) to identify needs, risks, and protective factors within families.

Develop, coordinate, and review multi-agency Family Action Plans through Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings.

Deliver direct intervention and practical support to children and families to improve outcomes in areas such as parenting, school attendance, emotional wellbeing, and family functioning.

Work collaboratively with schools, health services, housing, police, and voluntary sector organisations to ensure a coordinated early help response.

Monitor progress and outcomes, ensuring timely escalation to statutory services where safeguarding concerns arise.
Person Specification
Qualifications

Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, Youth Work, Education, or equivalent. Degree desirable.

Evidence of relevant training in early help, safeguarding, or family support practice.
Registration & Compliance

Strong understanding of Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 and local early help threshold frameworks.

Knowledge of the Children Act 1989/2004 and safeguarding escalation pathways.
