What you will do

• Undertake Early Help Assessments (EHA) to identify needs, risks, and protective factors within families.

• Develop, coordinate, and review multi-agency Family Action Plans through Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings.

• Deliver direct intervention and practical support to children and families to improve outcomes in areas such as parenting, school attendance, emotional wellbeing, and family functioning.

• Work collaboratively with schools, health services, housing, police, and voluntary sector organisations to ensure a coordinated early help response.

• Monitor progress and outcomes, ensuring timely escalation to statutory services where safeguarding concerns arise.

Person Specification
Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, Youth Work, Education, or equivalent. Degree desirable.

• Evidence of relevant training in early help, safeguarding, or family support practice.

Registration & Compliance

• No professional registration required.

• Strong understanding of Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 and local early help threshold frameworks.

• Knowledge of the Children Act 1989/2004 and safeguarding escalation pathways.
