Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Social Worker seeking a dynamic locum opportunity within the Lambeth Centralised AMHP Service? This unique position is calling for highly skilled Approved Mental Health Professionals AMHP to join our Centralised Day Time AMHP service on a temporary basis.

Candidates must be fully qualified as an AMHP with current professional social work registration, and experience in working in a similar capacity is greatly preferred. You will be expected to confidently manage all statutory responsibilities as an AMHP as outlined under the Mental Health Act MHA.

What you will do:

• Conduct assessments and manage cases effectively, making informed decisions under the MHA.
• Collaborate with other professionals within the multi-agency team to deliver high-quality services to clients.
• Provide expert advice and guidance as an AMHP to ensure that mental health services are appropriately used.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training to continually improve your practice and outcomes for service users.
• Record and maintain accurate case records for all clients in line with national and local standards.
