What You Will Do:

Initial Assessments: Conduct thorough initial assessments to determine the needs of children and families.

Safeguarding & Care Proceedings: Initiate care proceedings to safeguard children and prepare detailed cases for initial case conferences.

Case Management: Prepare comprehensive reports under the single assessment framework and develop strategic care plans.

Risk & Safety Assessments: Perform risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families.

Court & Legal Involvement: Write Section 17 reports for family court matters, draft initial court statements, and apply for emergency care orders when necessary.

Advocacy in Court: Attend court sessions and hearings, advocating for vulnerable children and presenting professional insights.

Meetings & Conferences: Contribute to case conferences and chair vital meetings to advance planning and intervention strategies.

Home Visits: Conduct home visits to monitor situations and ensure safeguarding measures are in place.
