What you will do:
- Carry out routine and specialist diagnostic testing in Blood Transfusion, Haematology, or Clinical Chemistry.
- Ensure all laboratory work is compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and in good working order.
- Prepare and interpret results, providing accurate and timely diagnostics for patient care.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance laboratory services.
To be considered, you must have:
- HCPC registration and a relevant qualification in biomedical science or an alternative equivalent.
- Post-qualifying experience within biomedical science.
- Competence at Specialist Biomedical Scientist level in Blood Transfusion, Haematology, or Clinical Chemistry. Don’t worry if you lack experience in a specific discipline; we offer training to help refine your skills.
