What you will do

• Lead and undertake safeguarding enquiries (Section 42) under the Care Act 2014, ensuring that all actions are in the best interest of adults at risk.

• Complete comprehensive Care Act assessments to identify individual needs and eligibility for support.

• Develop and review person-centred and outcome-focused care and support plans.

• Carry out Mental Capacity Assessments and make Best Interest decisions in compliance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

Person Specification
Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent)

• Evidence of continued professional development

Registration & Compliance

• Registered with Social Work England

• Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Safeguarding Adults procedures

• Enhanced DBS clearance
