About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Locum Social Worker to join the Adult Mental Health Team in Bromley. This ongoing, office-based role offers both full-time and part-time options and provides the chance to work within a supportive and well-established mental health service. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality statutory social work interventions to adults with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Social Worker in the Adult Mental Health Team, you will:

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments for adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

  • Develop, implement, and review person-centred care and support plans.

  • Work in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practice guidance.

  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary partners including health professionals and community services.

  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to service users and their families.

  • Participate actively in team meetings, supervision, and training sessions.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records in line with statutory and council requirements.


Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work

  • Registration with Social Work England

  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualifying experience in adult mental health (essential)

  • Ability to work 5 days per week in an office-based role

  • Availability to start within 2–4 weeks
