What You Will Do:
- Provide strong leadership and management to social workers, advanced practitioners, and support staff
- Ensure robust management oversight and effective risk management processes are in place
- Lead complex safeguarding decisions and statutory interventions with clarity and confidence
- Drive high-quality assessments, plans, and interventions that enhance outcomes for children and families
- Chair strategy discussions and professional meetings, ensuring collaborative decision-making
- Oversee Child Protection, Child in Need, and Children Looked After processes
- Support social workers through reflective supervision, promoting their professional growth
- Foster excellent partnership working across multi-agency networks
- Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with quality assurance and regulatory standards
- Contribute to service development initiatives and continuous improvement programs

About You:
We seek a social work leader who not only has the experience to manage but can also inspire and drive their team towards bettering children's futures. You will have a degree or equivalent in social work with a current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in Children's Services, especially in managerial roles such as Team Manager, is essential to your success in this role.
