This Advanced Social Work Practitioner role based in Sheffield comes with a competitive rate of £35 hourly for an ongoing locum position. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the front line of safeguarding as part of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. The role is full time, comprising 37 hours a week, and is funded until the end of March 2027. You will be a part of the Safeguarding Front Door team, bringing your previous experience within MASH or a Screening team to the fore. We are on the lookout for an experienced practitioner with a knack for working at pace, someone who is deeply skilled in risk assessment, safety planning, and proficient in analysing information from multiple sources. At Sheffield, we employ the Signs of Safety model and utilise the Liquid Logic social care system with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop safety plans.
- Analyse complex information from various sources to inform decision-making processes.
- Manage referrals effectively and make confident decisions regarding thresholds for interventions.
- Use your expert knowledge to inform planning and ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Work with Sheffield Children’s Services using the Signs of Safety model and the Liquid Logic system.
