What you will do:

• Prepare and dispense aseptic products in accordance with GMP, NHS standards, and hospital procedures.
• Carry out accuracy and quality checks to ensure medicines are prepared and supplied safely.
• Maintain high standards of aseptic technique and comply with relevant quality assurance procedures.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to support effective pharmacy services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with NHS requirements and local procedures.
• Participate in audits, quality assurance activities, and service improvement initiatives.
• Follow all relevant policies and procedures relating to medicines management, health and safety, and infection prevention.
• Contribute to the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of aseptic pharmacy services.

Essential requirements:

• Band 5 Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Previous NHS Aseptic or Technical Services experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Strong quality assurance awareness and attention to detail.
• Experience with accuracy checking.
• Ability to work effectively within a pharmacy and wider multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and professional practice.
