What you will do:

• Monitor and regulate the performance, equitability, and affordability of Hackney’s short breaks for disabled children and young people.
• Lead contract management and monitoring activities, develop, implement and maintain robust contract monitoring policies, procedures, and frameworks in line with corporate practices, ensuring compliance.
• Set a framework for and line manage three short breaks staff members working directly with families of disabled children and young people – including Short Breaks Service Support Officers and the Short Breaks Administrative Officer.
• Address or escalate any significant disputes that may arise with families and/or contractors regarding access by individual families to their short breaks offer.

As a professional applying for this role, it is essential to be HCPC registered. A valid driving license is also beneficial, as it will aid you in managing your responsibilities with greater ease and flexibility.
